Benvenuti!

 Our chef, Andrea Pisano, was born in Sardinia, Italy. As a young boy, Andrea enjoyed being in the kitchen. He started by helping his grandmother prepare handmade pastas.  By age thirteen he was preparing meals for his family on his own.  This was just the start of his outstanding cuisines.

 

In 1999, Andrea and his brother, Francesco, decided to open their own restaurant in Sardinia. Ristorante Kantu was a great success as Andrea took full responsibility of the kitchen.  But in 2005 Andrea wanted a to share his passion of cooking with the rest of the world.

 

In 2005 Andrea left Sardinia and moved to Hull, England where he worked at Luciano’s Italian Ristorante.  Andrea was the head chef and shared his magnificent Italian recipes.  After spending two years in England, Andrea was found by an American restaurant owner who offered Andrea a job in Sarasota, Fl. 

 

In 2007 Andrea moved to America where he spent all his time in the kitchen of Cantina Toscana.  Andrea had full control over the kitchen where he developed a new menu based on superior food quality and exceptional presentation. His food was a delightful success as expected.

 

In 2009 Andrea moved to Destin, Fl where we welcomed him to prepare his authentic Italian cuisines.  So come in to experience the taste of Italy!
